Lowell Sherris

A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, Ophthalmology Residency Program at Downstate Medical Center, and Retina Fellowship at Manhattan Eye & Ear Hospital and Cornell University, Lowell practiced ophthalmology in Jacksonville and in Broward County. He earned a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalyn Franklin University. Lowell has earned the status of Certified Practitioner by the Institute of Functional Medicine, and is currently practicing Functional Medicine.

He has also taken advanced courses in Cardiometabolic diseases from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and in Functional Neurology from the International Academy of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.

Lowell is committed to community service and has previously served on the Board of Directors of the Broward Chapter of the American Diabetes Association, as President of the Rotary Club of Coral Springs, and as President of the Combined Health Appeal of Broward County.

Lowell and his wife Meryl have an autistic daughter, and have been actively involved with the autism community.
