Let’s Make History in Asheville! Join the HealthyUNow Foundation on October 19th!
Want to make history here in Western North Carolina? You’re invited to play an integral part in the building of the world’s first vertically, healthy habitat for children with autism. Please join the HealthyUNow Foundation for a luncheon and fundraiser on Saturday, October 19th as we introduce the Bird’s Nest to our local community here in Asheville and the surrounding area.
Located just outside of Asheville, North Carolina, this visionary, educational, therapeutic and residential facility is a unique project from globally-recognized autism expert, Julie A Buckley, MD, and her Foundation, HealthyUNow, The Bird’s Nest plays a key role in HealthyUNow’s mission, “To develop communities, both physical and virtual, that understand autism is an environmentally influenced medical condition and that support the treatment of individuals and families in a healthy living environment.” Community members attending our luncheon will see first-hand the plans and vision behind this facility which is one-of-a-kind in its construction, maintenance, therapies and focus on healing families affected by autism.
How can you help? This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals and organizations – who are either familiar with or would like to learn more about autism – to become involved and provide financial support for HealthyUNow as we prepare to open this innovative healing center. Along with individual attendees, we are also seeking Table Captains who will be responsible for filling eight seats at your table for this luncheon and fundraiser.
Here at the HealthyUNow Foundation, we are extremely excited to have this opportunity to showcase the Bird’s Nest to our Asheville neighbors. Once again, this event will be held Saturday, October 19 at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Church Street in Asheville, NC. Please come out and show your support for those families and individuals affected by autism. Find more event details and register online for our Bird’s Nest Luncheon and Fundraiser. We look forward to meeting you all soon!
